Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival 2010

Mid-Autumn Festival is traditionally celebrated among Asian countries on the 15th day of the 8th Lunar month when the moon is fullest, lightest. In Vietnam, we always celebrate it as one of the most important festivals in a year. All children love it because it is their special time. They will have new clothes, new toys, will join together playing, singing, dancing in a big party with colorful lanterns and moon cakes.

VSAF will hold a BBQ party in Otaniemi on 26 this month to celebrate the mid-summer holiday. You can bring your own food here and enjoy the grilling while having fun with your friends. Drinks will be taken care of by the organizers, so just come and have a great Juhannus together !

Learning Vietnamese course is an education programs offered by Vietnamese Students of Association in Finland (VSAF). The course aims at providing general information of life, culture as well as basic communication for students, businessmen who are going to come to Vietnam for studying and working. It is also suitable for visitors and everyone who desire to experiment a unique, interesting culture from the South-East Asia country- Vietnam.
